Why Does My Phone Get Hot While Charging?
A phone may become mildly warm because charging, the processor, the screen, and wireless radios all produce heat. Disconnect it if it becomes excessively hot, repeatedly shows temperature warnings, smells unusual, swells, or concentrates heat at a damaged connector.

A hot environment
