Why Is My USB-C Charger Charging So Slowly?

Read the fine print beside the port or on the charger. Look for output wattage for that specific port, whether the rating changes when multiple ports are occupied, USB Power Delivery or PD, PPS when the device uses Programmable Power Supply charging, and separate ratings for USB-A and USB-C ports.
A charger advertised as “100W total” may divide that capacity among several ports. Disconnect unnecessary devices and retest with the same cable.

A cable can pass basic power while failing to support the charger’s highest output.

A swollen, smoking, or overheating battery is a safety problem, not merely a slow-charging problem.
